Cornelia Gafiu

Cornelia is specialized in crisis communications, corporate affairs, public affairs and awareness campaigns for local and global companies, primarily in the sectors of real-estate, pharmaceuticals, energy and retail. As Editorial Director, Cornelia helps to identify angles and stories that make a difference for clients’ brands and products in the context of the communities where they are based.

She has provided strategic advice and content for corporate clients like Willbrook International, Enel, Up Romania and she worked on crisis communications, governmental and legislative relations for the Romanian Association of Innovative Drug Producers (ARPIM). Cornelia has profound editorial ability to tell compelling stories for B-to-B and B-to-C clients by turning dense and dry reports and data into persuasive content.

Prior to Links, Cornelia worked at the Bucharest Office of the German Marshall Fund where she helped launch the Black Sea Trust grant-making program. During this time, Cornelia also organized key international events which gather top political and economical leaders worldwide, such as the Bucharest Conference, the Bucharest NATO Summit and the Brussels Forum.

Cornelia has a Bachelors Degree in Political Science, a Master Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Bucharest, a PhD grant and worked as a researcher for the Free University of Brussels.
