After a lasting career in journalism, marked by an extensive cooperation with Greece’s main news agency – Athens News Agency -, Ioana switched to PR and in 2011 joined Links Associates, drawn by its team of professionals and the impressive clients portfolio.

Over the past years, Ioana has been actively involved in building solid relations with the media, designing integrated communication strategies and finding creative approaches to promote clients from a wide range of industries.

Spotting the story behind their activities, bringing them to light in a realistic, but appealing way for the large public is the essence of Ioana’s activity, which also involves a great deal of crisis communication.

Her area of expertise covers real-estate, industry, pharmaceuticals,retail, transports and aviation, NGOs, professional associations. She is currently hands on managing communication for clients like Globalworth, Teva, Airbus Helicopters, TCC, cora, WebEye, providing creative content, strategic advice and building sustainable communication paths.

Prior to joining Links Associates, Ioana worked 18 years in the mainstream media, with daily newspapers like Romania Libera and ZIUA. In the same time, Ioana was the correspondent in Romania for Athens News Agency for more than 13 years, reporting on economic, social, cultural and political news.

Ioana graduated the Polytechnic University in Bucharest and has a master in Industrial Robots and a post-graduate diploma at Bucharest’s Economic Academy. She also studied journalism at Reuters Foundation and was a stringer in Romania for Newsweek magazine.
