UK educated Senior Financial Executive with a wealth of experience in Finance and Management, having worked for over 20 years in England for major International Financial Institutions, Retailers and in the Recruitment sector.

As a member of the Management team at Links Associates and as his role as CFO, he acts in advisory capacity providing support on Financial, Legal and Strategical matters working closely with company personnel. Also provides additional support when required such as overseeing the successful implementation and delivery of a European Project with Community Links NGO, in partnership with the Faculty of History/University of Bucharest.

Tilak came to Romania in 1997 to as the CFO of Saatchi & Saatchi, providing strategical, organizational and technical support to the Managing Director and CEO as well as advising the Board of Directors Oversaw the restructuring of the Group’s advertising business during the split of Bates Centrade Saatchi & Saatchi into various different operating units. Tilak was also responsible for the yearly budgets, forecasts and approved all contracts with clients and suppliers and the daily running of the Finance department.

Tilak continued his career as a Senior Financial Executive in Romania over the next two decades gaining further experience in Telecom and Real Estate industries for companies such as Astral Telecom, Dial Telecom, then moving into some of the biggest Real Estate projects in Romania at the time: Baneasa Project (where he managed finances of the largest mixed development real estate project of its kind in Central & Eastern Europe, handling a complex web of relations with lenders, contractors and consultants and managing the cash-flow of the entire project) and Willbrook Management International where he was engaged to restructure the Groups projects and loan portfolios for operations in Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Turkey and Georgia.
